Central Hob presents Valley Sessions - a series of open mic nights celebrating local talent in grassroots pubs and venues. Each night will be headlined by featured bands and artists, giving the event a vibrant, gig-like feel whilst keeping the space open and accessible to artists of all levels of experience.

Each artist is welcome to a fifteen minute slot, within which we welcome all art-forms, from poetry to stand-up to music.
We ask that attendees and performers help us to uphold an inclusive environment by being kind and supportive towards everyone at the events.
The Valley sessions will be hosted often throughout Common Thread. Alongside the featured performers the valley sessions are hosted by a fun group, including Stella Vollum -who hosts the acomplished open mic The Sunday Sessions, which has become a staple of the independent folk scene in Manchester.
