Our services
As part of the Common Thread project, we are running a variety of musical workshops in the Hope Valley. Come along and learn some new skills for a reasoonable price!
Music Tech Workshops
Learn all about everything from sound recording and production, to running live sound for concerts! Those that participate will have the opportunity to get real hands on experience running sound for events throughout the summer.
Songwriting and Composition
Aimed primarily at young people, these workshops will provide a basic framework, as well as professional support and guidance in songwriting and composition through group work as well as on a 1-1 basis, making these workshops accessible to those of all levels of experience.
On top of this, participants will have access to a group of trained musicians with whom they can work with as a "session band", and participants may have their music performed in concert at the end of the project. LIMITED SPACES AVAILABLE
Join our community choir and singing workshops, aimed at improving wellbeing and celebrating the joy of singing together. As well as exploring the benefits of singing, we will focus on practical skills such as basic vocal technique and ensemble skills. These sessions are open to all.
